I rode this morning with the usual suspect plus a friend. The usual suspect, Chris, is my bestest buddy, training partner, and team mate from way back. The friend was Sue, a top notch tri-athlete visiting from Minnesota. I'm her coach on the bike. We did a little 35 mile jaunt out past the power plant and back. After about 3 weeks back on the bike after 10 months off I'm starting to feel like a bike rider again. I'm afraid it will be a while before I feel like a bike racer again.

Oh yeah, let me give you a brief synopsis of my dream last night. Chris and I went through all this rig-a-moroll to snipe at these supposed bad guys with his new AR-15. He was spotter and I was the trigger man. After we'd shot 4 people we realized that we weren't in a video game, it was real life so we threw the guns in the car and took off. Luckily it was dream. I forgot to say in my previous post that Chris is also my video game buddy. Our favorites are "Ghost Recon advanced Warfighter", "Halo 1&2", and "Dynasty Warriors". And no, the latter is not set in Texas with a guy named "JR".

Chris and I rode 51 miles this evening. Great route out towards Polk City. There is a road that got paved in my 10 month hiatus that I've been wishing they would pave for at least 25 years. It's only 2 miles but it connects some great rural roads. We were just about back home and some 20 year old red necks in a pick up pulled up next to us. I was braced for a fight and as hard as we rode, we would have been beaten to a pulp. Anyway, they pulled up next to us and yelled "Hey, how's your testosterone level?" I about bused a gut.

Hmmmm... thats funny I had a similar dream recently.. and I dont even play video games.. strange..
Also Ross, this is Sara and I found your redneck joke histerical not to mention I gave myself a pat on the back for "getting" it... I would hate to be subject to one of Jeremy's cynical cartoons... keep up the good work!
