Bad Legs, Good Neck

I had a rough time riding today and it wasn't because of my neck. My legs hurt like I'd done 90 miles just before I started and I had an allergy headache. Boo fricken hoo. Chris and I rode up north on Rock Ridge Road. The capitol for Polk County rednecks in the redneck south. That makes it virtually the holy land for pickup driving, beer swilling, fat, rebel hat wearing, no shirt wearing rednecks. No trouble today though. We were out early enough. They were either fishing or still sleeping. It is nice country to ride in if you don't get accosted. We did all of 38 miles and that was about all I cared to do today. Here are a few images the cheesy bike am caught.

I'll try to mix up my pictures a little bit. I was just noticing how similar all the pix I've posted look.

If you go to B.F.E. and turn left, then past some cattle, it's right there. Just follow the trail of Budweiser cans. It's north of Lakeland. If you go up Hwy. 98 it crosses about 3 miles after it turns into 2 lanes.

Why don't you plan on making the trip over here some Sunday am and riding with us. You could consolidate it with a mowing trip or something. I'll even treat you to lunch.
